Litter Vigilante Campaign 2024
Monaghan Tidy Towns have been busy updating our anti-litter campaign over the past year. With a great increase in volunteers and a community approach and collaborating with the council, we have been succeeding in keeping litter levels low, leading to a 6th (June 2023) and 7th place (December 2023) in the IBAL national results.
We decided to update our risk assessment protocols, create a Do's and Dont's advice leaflet and develop a kit for volunteers. . After a committee meeting, we agreed and actioned the following documents and actions which we are sharing with all TT groups in our TT county network. We are making all available on this web site to be shared and/or adapted by all
